Passionate about nurturing young talent and celebrating the next generation of tradespeople, we are the largest employer through TAFE in the region.
Throughout our 40+ year relationship with Michael and his business, South West TAFE have trained approximately 70 Hearn apprentices, who still work across the South West region and beyond with many running their own businesses. He understands quality training has a direct impact on the quality and consistency of the work produced by his business, and has proven this over time in his commitment to training.

Leading Hand Carpenter
A motivated carpenter
able to work both independently and collaboratively as part
of a team. Must have completed a minimum of Certificate 4 Carpentry, or a demonstrated high level of competency. Must have own vehicle and tools.
Experienced Carpenter
A passionate individual with proven experience as a carpenter in residential and/or commercial settings for at least 3-5 years. Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of work. Must have own vehicle and tools.
Site Supervisor
Independent and dedicated with experience in the building industry, ready to take on a leadership role in a thriving construction environment. Ensures the execution of our projects through effective communication with the team and contractors, while managing purchase orders, materials, project timelines, client queries and enforcing safety procedures.
